Acting Teacher

Ashlee began performing at the age of seven.  Some of her professional theatre credits include The New Kid (Off-Broadway-The York Theatre, NYC), Free to be You & Me (Paper Mill Playhouse), Rabbit on the Run (Paper Mill Playhouse), The Wizard of Oz (The Growing Stage) as well as The Merchant of Venice with Compagnia de’Colombari directed by Karin Coonrod.

In addition to theatre, Ashlee then branched out into film and television when she signed with Abrams Artists Agency.  Her television credits include ABC’s What Would You Do? and NBC’s Rise.  Her film credits include the feature film The Dinner, Grey Between, Text, and Boys and Girls.  Ashlee has also done commercial work as well as print work with Seventeen Magazine.

Ashlee received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from Montclair State University.  Her theatre credits at MSU include Merchant of Venice (Black Angel), Michigan Murders (Alice Kalom), Iphigenia (Iphigenia (u/s) / Woman of the Court), Pride and Prejudice (Lydia Bennet), and The Tall Girls (Lurlene).

Ashlee’s training includes both theatre and on-camera work and has studied Voice and Speech for the Actor, Shakespeare as well as the following acting methods: Stanislavski, Stella Adler, and Practical Aesthetics.  She has been studying voice with Maria Mazzola DeVito for well over 4 years and continues to perform professionally in theatre, television and film.

Kalliopi Logothetis

Piano Teacher

Kalliopi has been teaching piano at MDM Studio since 2016.  Her musical foundation began with the piano at the age of six and bass clarinet at the age of eleven.

She has been fortunate enough to have been part of the Region Band of New Jersey as well as the New Jersey Area Band.  Throughout high school, she was part of several musical groups including the jazz band, wind ensemble, orchestra, and concert band.  In 2015, she was honored by her band members with Outstanding Musicianship.  After competing in several jazz band festivals, she was privileged to be a part of a group that won best rhythmic section for three years in a row.

She has also taken part in several different competitions including the Sights and Sounds festival in Westfield, NJ where she won and placed 1st and 2nd in the senior instrument solo category with the piano.

Kalliopi is currently the Youth Choir Director at St. George Greek Orthodox Church.  She has a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Music Performance from Seton Hall University.  In addition to teaching piano at MDM Studio, she is currently teaching Social Studies at Anthony Wayne Middle School in Wayne, NJ.  She continues to study voice and piano with Maria Mazzola DeVito.
